Support Our Community
Here are some areas in which you can help support the work of CETI. Click on the “Donate” button within any category, and you will be redirected to a page where you can make a donation directly to that area of our ministry.
Caty and René Padilla Chair
Support CETI's symposium: the Cátedra Caty y René Padilla, which explores the contemporary implications of Caty and René Padilla’s pioneering work in the Latin American and international evangelical sphere, both in terms of reflection and practice. We aim to provide space to continue cultivating and developing theologies from and for Latin America, promoting a community of support and exchange, and stimulating the practice of integral mission in faith communities across the continent. This event is held every 2-3 years.
Formation for Facilitators
A distinctive characteristic of CETI is its educational model based on a commitment that students have as much to contribute as they do to learn in the educational process. We seek to provide formational spaces that are dialogical and that incorporate lived experiences as well as tools and concepts from various academic disciplines. In this model, the role of the facilitator is key, since this person is responsible for stimulating students’ participation and collaboration. You can help CETI develop formation processes to prepare those who will facilitate local study circles and master’s courses.
Popular Education
Through our certificates, Vida&Misión and Contracorriente, CETI facilitates holistic theological formation processes in local study circles across the continent. Your donation helps us continue updating curriculum in light of the realities of our contexts, develop relationships and support the partners that use our materials in their contexts, and even design new programs that adapt to the needs of the participants. Even now, we are designing a shorter, more flexible study program that will be called Aquí y Ahora.
Master's Cohorts
Thanks to the efforts of CETI and our partner, Bakke Graduate University, those studying a Master’s in Transformational Leadership have access to a formation program that challenges them to be leaders who live in light of the whole Gospel, setting an example for others in their contexts. Each cohort invests collectively to cover the costs of their courses. Your donations go into a “rescue” fund that helps the cohort and individual members when facing momentary financial difficulties, so that their studies can continue uninterrupted.
Educational Resources
CETI must constantly invest in the books, tools, databases, and materials that we provide to the participants in our programs. This task is complicated by the scarcity of resources available online in Spanish that emerge from and reflect the Latin American context. Your donation can cover the cost of a book for a group of students, provide access to journal articles, sponsor the publication of material in the format of an ebook, or allow us to obtain other tools that improve the online learning experience.
The Continental Team
CETI’s work is possible thanks to the members of our Continental Team, who are each leaders in their respective fields, passionate, and committed to the community we serve. By making a donation to CETI’s general fund, your support will be used wherever it is most needed at this time, and you help us continue doing this valuable work. It is a joy and an honor to serve the Latin American Church as it seeks to live out God’s Kingdom and justice holistically, authentically, and transformatively in the Latin American context.
